Lora McDevitt
A nutritionist who believes every body is a gift with it’s own set of needs
ABOUT LORA…
Lora has a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She completed her Dietetic Internship at UNCG with rotations focusing on long-term care, childhood nutrition, and overall wellness.
Lora is passionate about helping those who struggle with disordered eating escape their distressing thoughts surrounding food. Lora incorporates Intuitive Eating principles into her work with clients and seeks to help others reconnect with their own body and soul. She hopes to help equip others to see their body as a gift with its own set of needs, and that it is not defined by what is presented in the media or suggested by others.
Lora is also knowledgeable with the nutrition management of gastrointestinal issues including Celiac disease, IBD, IBS, diverticulitis, and GERD. Lora values her family, friends, and her relationship with God. In her free time she loves to cook, run, hike, read, and travel. She is a huge cat lover and is always open to continually learning.
